Institute for the Study of Doctrinal Disciplines and General History of Forms and Deliberation (DOGMA)

DOGMA was initially created as a research centre under the chair of "Interpretation and Law" held by Prof. Rials within the framework of the Institut universitaire de France.

The mission statement of DOGMA is to study formal and substantial truth systems, in particular within doctrinal law societies.

DOGMA organises a great number of events - study days, round tables and teach-ins - the details of which you can find on the DOGMA website.

The proceedings for main events organised by DOGMA are published in the reviews Droits, Revue française de théorie, de philosophie et de culture juridiques, published by Presses universitaire de France, and Revue d'Histoire des Facultés de droit et de la Culture juridique, published by the company of the same name.
